Julie Molina is about to start her first continental solo tour when her regular guitarist, Nick, has to drop out due to an injury.
Her team quickly finds a replacement for the tour in form of up and coming Sunset Curve’s lead singer, Luke Patterson. In the aftermath of their bandmate Bobby leaving the band, taking an album’s worth of Luke’s songs with him and a whole string of legal issues coming up their way, Luke and his bandmates, Reggie and Alex, decide that it’s best to fix their financial and reputational problems by taking the offer.
Julie’s only reluctantly coming to terms with a new guitarist joining her band so shortly before the most important event of her musical career but soon realises that Luke’s not only a talented musician himself, but also a great guy and pleasant addition to her team.
Both of them are blown away by witnessing the other’s passion and talent for music and songwriting and by realising how easy working with each other is. So, what will happen after the tour comes to an end and Nick’s healed and able to rejoin Julie’s band?
